Notes

This variable measures a different thing for  
- Rs with co-resident partners:  Time elapsed (years) between start of living together and marriage
- and Rs with non-resident partner: Time elapsed (years) between start of relationship and marriage

The time of starting to live together was deducted from the answers to Q 301 and Q307. If information on the month at start living together / month of marriage was missing, a 6 (june) was used in the calculation.  Values 21-25 for month values are converted in the following way: "Beginning of the Year" = "January-February"; "Spring" = "May"; "Summer" = "August"; "Autumn" = "October"; "End of Year" = "December". If respondents got married before living together then the observation is excluded
